Hello, I’m Ian. As a business owner, I bring over 35 years of experience in senior sales and commercial leadership roles, supported by hands-on knowledge across a wide range of infrastructure and industrial markets. These include Transmission & Distribution, Renewables, Mining, Rail, Automotive, Construction, and Telecommunications.
I have worked for several major cable manufacturing businesses around the world, including Prysmian, Nexans, Telefonika, AFL and AMC. I have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, working with certification bodies such as BSi, IEC, UL, LR along with AS/NZS standards across the ANZ region. I have successfully secured vendor and product approvals with major network operators such as Network Rail, National Grid, Transpower and National Highways (formerly Highways England) navigating businesses through complex processes to attain the necessary certification, establishing long-term supplier partnerships and ongoing project engagement.
I am extremely passionate about what I do, tenacious in my approach with the ability to bridge technical detail with commercial outcomes. I work closely with manufacturers, engineers, and end users to deliver solutions that are fully compliant, commercially compelling, and fit for purpose.
